Not keeping up with much crafty stuff lately...as usual!! But the Hubby is off for eight days and I am trying to get my scrap room back in order a bit, so I can start taking part in virtual crops and creating a bit more. Last month my Mom and Dad went to stay with some family for three nights to get away for a bit, so me and Tristan went out to keep an eye on the house and watch the dog overnight. I decided to take my scrapbooking supplies out there and take advantage of no internet. I am SO glad that I did because I did 26 pages while I was there!! That is all I had done since the retreat in February!! Last week I did join a virtual crop and did a double page spread. I could really get caught up if I made it a goal of doing two pages a week. :o)
I joined the Monday Virtual Crop again this week and played along with a Sketch challenge. Which really made things a bit easier I think. Didn't have to work the brain so hard!! LOL!! Below is the sketch and then my version of the sketch. This group that I belong to is going to have a sketch each week, and I hope to play along as much as I can. Okay...I am off to get some more done in the scrap room so I can FIND my scrap stuff when I need it!!
My place for my scrapbooking, both digital and traditional, card making, stamping, altered items and other homemade goodies that I like to share. :o)

Zoo Page A Day ~ Day 14
Just realized that I had this last page saved as a draft and never posted it. LOL!! Silly girl! So here is way late!!
Well, here is the last page for now. It was so fun doing these Zoo pages! If I hadn't already bought such cute Zoo stuff for traditional scrapbooking, I would have just kept going. :O) So this is all the Zoo stuff now. We will see what other stuff I can share with you know.

Thought I would share a page today...
Not feeling like doing too much on this dreary, rainy day...so I thought I would share the latest digital page that I did. I went on my Memories on Marshall scrapbook retreat last month, and will have to share some fun from that weekend when I get a chance. But for today, here is a page.

Zoo Page A Day ~ Day 13
My not so little guy seems to have caught what his Dad has, and is sleeping right now, so thought I would get on and share real quick. I have a feeling it will be movie time and snuggles when he wakes up. Here are the pages for today. There were so many birds all over the Zoo! Some were tricky to get photos because of glass and wire...but I did get a few shots of some of them. Tomorrow will be the last Zoo page a day! At least for now. The digital part of the album. I will work on the traditional pages most likely at my retreat in a month. I have plenty of other stuff that I can share though.

Zoo Page a Day ~ Day 8
So proud of me remembering to post every day. Of course, I usually do multiple posts at one time and have them ready to go, all I have to do is hit post from my phone. Oh the joys of technology. :o) This is one of the two pages that I had put on my family blog before I decided to separate the two. But it is probably my favorite page...so I am going to throw it in here. I really could spend all day in there!! I think a trip to the Butterfly House will be in order soon too. I hear it is great too.

Zoo Page A Day ~ Day 7
I have to say that the Penguins were AMAZING!! We enjoyed them SO much that we ended up going back in there more than once. It was over 100 degrees that day too though, and it was FREEZING in there!! Tristan loved them too. Can you tell that in the pics?

Zoo Page A Day ~ Day 6
Another double page spread today. Posting these pages makes me want to go back to the Zoo SO BAD and scrapbook too!! I would love to go back on a cooler day and stay from open to close!! Can't wait for Spring!! As for scrapbooking...I haven't felt good for a few days...so I must make myself do the housework I neglected yesterday while vegging on the couch watching TV with Tristan. (Even though I don't feel any better today) Maybe I will get to work on some power layouts later after school and housework. I am planning pages to work on at a scrapbook retreat the end of February. I go once a year with friends, and it is always such a great time!! Have a great day to anyone stopping by today. Leave comments if you do read, so I know I am not talking to myself! LOL!!

Doing this Zoo thing is keeping me up with a Blog better. :0) I will be posting a few cards that I made recently later on in the day. But for now...here is the next Zoo Page. Stingrays were VERY neat!! Loved them!

A few cards
I am doing something different this year and am going to keep track of how many cards and scrapbook pages I make in a year. This card was made for a friend that happens to own just about every other card I have made already, since she goes to the same Stamp Club as me, so I made this for her. I have decided that I need to have a box of card that I make to have to send to the girls that are in my Stamp Club. The card below is my Swap card that I made for Stamp Club in January. I wasn't able to go, but I look forward to getting back in a groove soon though.
Zoo Page A Day- Day 4
If you haven't been to the St. Louis Zoo to see the new Sea Lion Sound, then you will have to go!! It is amazing!! Another double page spread again since I had to take so many pictures to capture the beauty of the attraction.

Zoo Page a Day- Day 3
Today you get to enjoy two pages, since it is a double page layout. Something you may not realize about digital scrapbooking is that you can get A LOT of freebies for digital scrapbooking that include full kits. I haven't had to buy but a few kits so far that I just had to have, but they are usually just a few bucks.
Zoo Page A Day- Day 2
One of the reasons that I really like digital scrapbooking is being able to use a lot of pictures, and not having to get all those pics printed. You only have the one print of the scrapbook page to print. I still love my traditional as well. Here is today's page. :o)

Zoo Page a Day
After going to The St. Louis Zoo and taking tons of pictures, I knew that our family vacation would turn into a full album. I decided to help the process and do some digital Zoo pages when I have time. I shared a couple on my Family blog before I decided to separate the two blogs. I won't work on the album again probably until the Scrapbook retreat next month, but I have plenty to share that I have done already. Would love to hear your feedback on them.

Decided to Change
I decided to do two different blogs that keep my craft stuff separate from my family stuff. Which means designing a new blog. Will be a work in progress. But maybe I will keep up better this way. :o) Figured the "Thacker Family News" wasn't really getting the time it needed, so maybe I can do more on there and get it out to more family.
